Privacy Policy — Living Doodles

The short version

Living Doodles collects nothing about you or your child. Drawings are animated on your phone and never uploaded. A video leaves the app only when you save it to your own photo library.

Privacy tier: 0 — Sealed

Every Tidy App declares one of three tiers, and the tier states exactly what the app does and does not send. Living Doodles is made for families with young children, so it is Tier 0, the strictest: no network use at all except Apple's own App Store purchase check. What the tiers mean.

Drawings	Stored on the device only. Never uploaded, never synced.
Photos	Used on the device to cut the drawing out. The original photo is not kept.
Videos	Leave the app only when you save one to your photo library.
Usage data	None. Not even anonymous counts.
Purchases	Handled by Apple. We never see a payment detail.

If anything here ever changes, this policy and the App Store privacy label will be updated in the same release that changes it — never before, and never after.

Data Collection

Living Doodles does not collect any personal data. There are no accounts, no sign-in and no email capture. There are no analytics, no crash reporting tools, no advertising and no third-party code of any kind built into the app.

Data Storage

When you photograph or import a drawing, the app squares up the page and keeps a working copy of it, the cut-out of the drawing, the joints and fixes you make, any colouring, and the worlds you build. All of it is stored inside the app on your device and nowhere else. The app has no sync and no server, and we have no access to any of it.

Deleting a drawing or a world removes it from the app; deleting the app removes everything it stored. Like any app's data, it may be included in your device's own iCloud or Mac backups, which are governed by your settings with Apple.

Camera & Photos

The camera is used only while you are photographing a drawing. Importing uses Apple's photo picker, which hands the app only the one picture you choose; the app cannot see the rest of your library. Drawings are cut out and animated on your device by models built into the app; no image is sent anywhere for processing, and the original photo is not kept.

Saving a video asks for permission to add to your photo library, and only to add: the app cannot read anything there. Saving sits behind a grown-up check. What you do with a saved video afterwards is up to you.

Third Parties

Living Doodles contains no third-party SDKs, analytics tools, advertising networks or external services. The app makes no network connection of its own. The only framework that performs any network activity is Apple's own StoreKit, described below.

Purchases & Payments

Living Doodles is free to download. Free use includes unlimited drawings, the wave, walk, jump, bounce and wobble moves, and one world. It offers one optional in-app purchase, behind a grown-up check:

Living Doodles Plus is a one-time, non-consumable purchase of $5.99 (or the local equivalent in your App Store storefront) that adds every other move and unlimited worlds, permanently.
It is not a subscription. Nothing auto-renews, nothing expires, and there is no free trial to forget to cancel.
It restores on every device signed in to the same Apple ID, via "Restore purchase".
Saving videos is never part of it: saving is always free and never watermarked.

All payment processing and refunds are handled entirely by Apple via the App Store. We never see your payment details, your Apple ID or any information about you. The app uses Apple's StoreKit to check whether Plus has been bought; that check may, on Apple's side, talk to Apple's servers, and we receive only a yes/no answer.

Children's Privacy

Living Doodles is made for families with young children and collects no personal data from anyone, children included. There are no accounts, profiles, chat, social features, advertising or links out of the app except behind the grown-up check. Photographs of a drawing can show a child's name, face or home; that is why nothing is ever uploaded.

Changes to This Policy

Updates will be posted here with a new date, in the same release that makes the change.
